Buddies - Froggy and Piggy

(Froggy's Perspective) 

This is a story about a frog named Froggy and a pig named Piggy. (Hahaha very unique ng name) Froggy and Piggy have known each other since childhood as they were classmates on their elementary years. On their early years of elementary, they were their first acquaintances on school, became seatmates and each other's crush (just kidding, si Froggy lang daw. hahaha) Later on, they seemed like they had different worlds, as they had different group of friends. Piggy was the quiet one making kulet with his crushes while Froggy was the type who laughs and fights to those who make kulet of her. 

Years had passed and they grew up with no communications or news about each other. Magkita man sila eh wala ring batian, as if they were strangers. Came 2011, the time for a reunion of their batch and chance again to catch up with old friends. Ang dating mga di nagpapansinan, ngaun nagkukulitan na. And this lead to a good friendship between Froggy and Piggy. Buddies who haven't run out of things to talk to, anything under the sun, name it. Be it about their kalokohan, katangahan, kaungasan, hair, basketball, songs, movies, foods, pictures, shoes, experiences, secrets, jokes, cheesy lines, pang-asar lines, banat, pig-frog word games, lahat na. Walang katapusang kwentuhan at kulitan. It seems that a day wouldn't be complete without hearing (receiving) any words from them. They call each other different names, from Shrek-Fiona, Ungas-Tanga to Piggy-Froggy. Whatever they named each other, they will always be each other's Buddy. Not just a laugh-a-minute buddy but also a buddy who cares and will also be there on high and low points of life. 

However, it was never a smooth ride for their friendship, of course there are still humps and potholes along the way. There were times of tampuhan (lakas mang-asar ni Piggy eh. hehehe), confusions, questions of should they continue their closeness. They have hurt each other, unknowingly or unintentionally. And in spite of all of these problems, with their strong foundation of friendship, they still can't break the closeness they have. Bumabalik at bumabalik pa rin ung dating tawanan at kulitan. Piggy once said, "lets stay like this forever". But forever is such a strong word, even tomorrow we're uncertain of. Nevertheless, hope and faith exist. Hoping that Froggy and Piggy, the buddies will last forever. The end. (Ang tanga lang naiiyak ako!)
